The existing roof was carefully removed, the roof deck was inspected, and any damaged decking was replaced before installing a new roofing system designed for long-term performance. Before the finished roof covered the structure, our team wrote Psalm 16:1 on the underlayment:
"Preserve me, O God, for in You I take refuge."
This verse is the inspiration behind our name, Refuge Roofing, and serves as a reminder that while we build roofs to protect homes and buildings from the elements, our ultimate refuge is found in God. It's a tradition that reflects the values we bring to every project and was especially meaningful on a place of worship like this one.
